Back To The Future is a great movie that has everything.
A terrific story, memorable characters, great acting, dead-on satire, beautiful FX and great music. Every scene in this movie is a winner. Probably this movie works because it never takes itself seriously. From start to finish the movie contains an amazing wealth of visual gags (the giant guitar speaker, the DeLorean time machine) classic lines ( You can"t have a Pepsi Free. You gotta pay for it. and in-jokes (rocker Huey Lewis complaining that the music is too loud. The time travel logic, so hard to pull off, is done with great flair, suitable for any science fiction movie. Except this isn"t a sci-fi film. It"s a comedy with a heavy dose of social satire mixed in and it works on both levels.
Michael J. Fox plays Marty McFly a teenager who would rather play guitar than do anything else. He"s friendly with the town"s off-the-wall inventor Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd.) Doc creates a time machine and Marty is accidentally transported back to the year 1955. There he meets a younger version of his parents (Crispin Glover and Leah Thompson) and has to arrange for them to meet so they will get married and have him.
The role of Marty McFly was ideal for Michael J. Fox. His ability to play a teenager transferred perfectly from TV (Family Ties) to the big screen. Crispin Glover is terrific as Marty"s father, George McFly. He has a dual role, as a teenager and an adult. Christopher Lloyd is almost over-the-top as the nutty inventor. Thomas Wilson is Biff, the bully who constantly torments George McFly.
Other than Forrest Gump this is Robert Zemeckis"s best movie. Kids and adults will appreciate it.

Fun fact. I cried like a baby when I was on this ride. I was 5 or 6 years old. I pissed everyone off on the ride because of my hysterical behavior. I love the episode meet the quagmires in tributes back to the future and never gonna give you up. This is the film that I love more than life itself. It"s been a part of me since the day I saw it, back when I was 10. Chris Lloyd and Michael J. Fox are truly the best duo in cinematic history. A masterpiece in my mind.
I swear Christopher Loyd never ages, he"s been old for like 40 years now. I absolutely loved this... On my favorite movies ever. Love seeing all of the characters get back together. Specially going through scenes again they sound just the same. Back to the future. Definitely feel as though Im the ultimate Back To The Future was AMAZING. Would have loved to see Thomas Wilson “Biff”. Best virtual reality ride ever. Back to the future netflix. Back to the future theme.
The entire dance scene has been my favorite part, since I was a kid. From the beginning of the plan to Marty saying I guess you weren"t ready for that, but your kids are gonna love it. Generally I hate these big corporate entertainment things, and celebrities nowadays make my stomach turn, but that was awesome, I concede. Back to the future johnny b goode. 3:08 onwards will go down as one of the greatest movies scenes of all time. And to think it was almost cut. Back to the future trailer. My favorite moment has to be from part 2, when Marty jumps of Biff"s and he comes back up standing on the DeLorean. Marty: Hey doc go to 2020 Doc: No Marty is Coronavirus. 11:10 1955. Funny that Avengers: Endgame, that utilizes time travel to save the universe, has Alan Silvestri on the conduct, as is Back to the Future. To add coincidence to the modern mix, Back to the Future is referenced. Back to the future nike. Back to the future game. Back to the future day. Man this ride was a classic, I loved it and miss it. My dad recorded a home video of us on this ride and you can hear me in the background nearly crying lol. Its sad how this ride got replaced by the simpsons ride.
I have a summary for you. Back to the future hoverboard. IN THE YEAR 2015 ITS THE FUTURE that does not look like 2015. When I was a kid I did this once and it was amazing! Watching this kind of ruined the memory. Shame no Tom Wilson. But this was Epic. Why would he not want to be involved in this. 4:10 very funny. but where"d the train go Seth?
